ATCO flexible duct has code compliances for their line of insulated and non-insulated flexible HVAC air ducts used in residential, commercial, and modular/mobile home applications.
Core Features of ATCO Flexible Ducts Inner Core: Usually an airtight, multi-layer metallized/polyester core encapsulating a high-carbon, spring steel wire helix or aluminum. Insulation: Wrapped in thick, formaldehyde-free fiberglass insulation (ranging in thermal performance from R4.2 to R8.0 for maximum energy efficiency. Outer Jacket: A tear-resistant, reinforced metallized or gray polyester vapor barrier jacket that is flame-retardant.
